Support your team at the Olympics, and win a limited edition Panasonic Lumix digital camera

I didn’t expect the Olympics to hold much attraction for me, as I don’t normally enjoy watching sport.

But it’s been impossible to avoid getting caught up in the excitement of history in the making.

Like Boris Johnson, stuck on a zip wire, I was helpless to resist.

I’ve marvelled at the Queen parachuting in with James Bond (who’da thought it?!)

Screamed with delight at the victories, cried with disappointment at the losses.

And felt a real sense of national pride that Great Britain and Team GB are shining on the world stage.

Hard to believe it’ll all come to an end on Sunday.

But hopefully the closing ceremony will be as spectacular as the opening.

And I’m delighted to offer one lucky reader a lasting memento of the 2012 Olympics, in the form of this limited edition Panasonic Lumix digital camera, worth £59.99.

All you need to do is enjoy a fun new app which Panasonic has created to help us all get behind the nations taking part in this year’s sports spectacular.

Even a technophobe like me found the app easy to use, and lots of fun as I decorated my entire family’s faces in flags from across the globe.

After using Brodie’s beautiful face to support Team GB (of course) I decided – just for fun – to go for some of our favourite holiday destinations, countries which have shown us great hospitality in the past few years.

I have wonderful memories of a holiday in Portugal when I was younger, while Mr G learned to scuba dive in Cyprus (don’tcha just love the beard?). And Blake? Well, he’s never been happier than when he was splashing in the sea in Spain.

So go Portugal. Go Cyprus. Go Spain – but most of all go Team GB.

Now you go - and have some fun with the Olympic nations.

How to enter:

You can find the fabulous Panasonic Flag Tags app here: http://www.facebook.com/PanasonicUK/app_316244828451255.

Sign into Facebook and “like” the app.

Choose which country you want to support (so its flag will be painted on your face).

Then upload/take a picture, and follow the instructions to position that nation’s flag across your face.

Once the picture is created and posted on Facebook, there will be a URL in the toolbar. Here’s one of mine, as an example http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150954985641790&set=a.10150954985596790.412807.657631789&type=1&theater#!/photo.php?fbid=10151168213118854&set=a.10151168213098854.507541.696433853&type=1&theater

Copy and paste it, together with a comment, at the bottom of this post so we can check out the fab picture you’ve created.
